First City Women Parties of Eight

Alpharetta & Hickory Flat | September 15th & 17th

Enjoy a delicious meal with no cooking, no dishes, and all the while making new friends!

On September 15th and 17th, First City Women will be gathering all over our area for a hassle-free meal while nourishing friendships both new and old. Our church is made up of people from all over Roswell, Cumming, Canton, Hickory Flat, Alpharetta, Milton and more!! Parties of Eight will give you a chance to connect with women that may live near you, hopefully introducing you to some women you may not have met before. We believe God is always at work interweaving our lives together for His purpose and our hope is that you Experience Family through Parties of Eight! All parties will be at 12:00pm or 6:30pm (unless otherwise noted) on the date specified.

This is for every woman, every season of life, 18 and up. Register, select your favorite location or a location near you, and show up! The cost is as much or as little as you would choose to spend, so sign up today!

G1 Golf Clinic

Join us this fall for a G1 Golf experience! G1 Golf is beginner golf for boys and girls ages 4-9 (must be age 4 by 9/1/2026). Young players learn how to putt, chip and drive a golf ball properly during an 8-week G1 Golf Clinic in the FBCA gym. Sign up now! 

Upward Volleyball Fall League

Fall 2026

Upward Volleyball evaluation & uniform sizing will be on Thursday, August 13; Monday, August 17; and Tuesday, August 18. Evaluations will be conducted in a volleyball clinic / volleyball camp type format. All registered players may attend one, two or all three evaluation nights. Evaluations & uniform sizing for 3rd - 5th grade girls and boys (not intended to be co-ed) are 5:30 - 7 p.m. Evaluations & uniform sizing for 6th - 12th grade girls and boys (not intended to be co-ed) are 7 - 8:30 p.m. Once weekly, 1-hour team practices begin the week of August 24 on either Monday or Tuesday. You may exclude 1 least desirable practice night in online registration. Matches / games begin on Saturday, August 29. All practices and matches / games are at the FBC Alpharetta gym at 44 Academy St. in downtown Alpharetta. The gym is around back. Look for some tables & chairs on a deck or porch at the gym entrance doors, a few steps up from the back parking lot.

First City Prime (60+) Fall Trip

October 21 - 23 | Pigeon Forge

First City Men Pig Roast

Come and join First City Men as we roast a pig and have some fun together! Alpharetta will be hosted at a Milton home and Hickory Flat will be hosted at a Canton home. All food is provided for $15 per person, just bring yourself and a friend.

First City Women Refresh Retreat

March 11-13 | Pigeon Forge, TN

We will be headed to the beautiful mountains of Pigeon Forge, TN this March 11-13 for our third annual, “Refresh Retreat.” Our time will be spent being filled up and refreshed with devotional talks, small group discussions, relaxing afternoons in a gorgeous oversized cabin, and encouraging conversations while sipping coffee with friends. Spots are limited and are first-come first-serve, so sign up today!
